Do I take the bag?

No. A hold gives you the exclusive right to sell the bag for 72 hours. The bag stays with us until your buyer pays and your wire clears. You never carry inventory or take title.

What if it does not sell?

The hold ends at 72 hours. The bag goes back into inventory. You owe nothing for an unused hold. If your listing is still live when the hold ends, take it down.

Who ships?

We do. Once the sale report is approved and the wire is verified, we ship to the address you give us. You never handle the bag.

Who pays shipping and insurance?

We handle shipping and insurance to your buyer as set out in the partner agreement.

What if my buyer returns the bag?

The buyer relationship is yours. If the bag has not shipped, cancel the sale report with us. If it has shipped, the bag comes back to us, not to you. Returns, refunds, and Whatnot disputes sit with you unless the partner agreement says otherwise.

How do I get paid, and how fast?

Your buyer pays you on Whatnot or your channel. That is the payout. We do not send you a second payment. You wire us our share. We ship after we verify that wire.

What is the partner price?

The number you owe us on that bag. Sell above it and you keep 85 percent of the difference. We keep 15 percent of the difference plus the partner price. You cannot sell below the partner price without a written exception.

Can I see the partner price before I apply?

No. Photos, titles, and descriptions are public. Partner prices appear after approval.

What happens at 72 hours?

The hold ends. The bag is available to other partners. The locked partner price ends with the hold. A new hold, if you take one later, uses the partner price in effect then.

Can I extend a hold?

Not from the page. Send a note from Messages in your account before the hold ends if you need more time. We decide case by case. Do not leave a live listing up after a hold expires.

How many holds at once?

Up to 8 active holds.

How are bags authenticated?

Every bag is authenticated before it is offered here. Serial or date code, inclusions, condition, and measurements are listed on each bag. We do not claim that Chanel, Hermes, or any brand house authenticated it.

What about taxes and the resale certificate?

We require an EIN and a current resale certificate before approval. You collect and remit tax on your own channel. We are not your tax advisor.

How do you make money?

We keep the partner price plus 15 percent of anything you sell above it. You keep 85 percent of that upside. Marketplace fees on your channel do not change the split on the merchandise sale you report.

Is this a public shop I can check out of?

No. Guests can look. There is no cart. Holds, sale reports, and wires are for approved partners only.
